Albinobeach

ALBINOBEACH is post rock back from Jozi, South Africa consisting of three very different and musically contented individuals: Garrick van der Tuin (drums), Kalin Pashaliev (bass) and Ian Finch (guitar). In 2006, they formed a rock band that would attempt to push the envelope in the South African music scene. In July of 2007, ALBINOBEACH signed a deal with Forgotten Empire Records who released their self titled EP the same year. In live shows they invite guests and explore unusual instruments for example the Bulgarian Kaval (a wind instrument only indigenous to Bulgaria). ALBINOBEACH experiments with samples and programming creating a dreamy and extraterrestrial feel to the band's already molded and unusual sound. They draw on many varying influences from different musical cultures and genres, from jazz, progressive rock, metal, electronica, down tempo, trip hop, and traditional folk music.
